The Apple Tree is our most renowned venue and apart from the Wednesday Game we also hold special one off games from time to time.
The Landlord is a complete poker nut and the bar staff are amongst the friendliest in town - you can even hire the bar for private parties and we host corporate events etc at the bar.
Directions From Chancery Lane Tube (Central Line)
Chancery Lane: walk up Gray's Inn Road. After the main junction with Theobalds Road/Clerkenwell Road, take the second right, Elm Street (by the "Butty Boys") and follow it along (as it becomes Mount Pleasant) until you find the pub.
Directions From Farringdon Tube (Circle + Hammersmith and City Lines)
Farringdon: turn right out of the station, then, at the main junction ahead turn right along Farringdon Road. At the crossroads with traffic lights, turn left down Clerkenwell Road, until you reach Laystall Street. Turn right along that road until you reach Mount Pleasant at the end, then turn right and keep ahead until you reach the pub on your right.
This Game is part of The London Pub Poker Super League
The London Pub Poker Super League has been introduced to spice up our nights for all those that like to play in a league - but is designed to not put off the occasional player. Since day one when we were just a group of friends playing in a pub we have always welcomed new players and London Pub Poker nights are friendly and welcoming and are the best way to start playing live poker without costing you a fortune.
The Final 8 at every night all get points into The London Pub Poker Super League

£1 of each player donation is put into prize pool fund, assuming we run at every venue for the next 13 weeks and get an average of 20 players a night (conservative estimate) we would have a prizepool of 1k.
50% of this will go to The League Champion - The remaining 50% will go to a Season Finale - with the top 24 players in the league competing in an exclusive tournament to share the other 50%. So even if you consistently make the Final table - you are still in with a chance.
